Quicken Online Personal Finance Software Is Now Available For Free

by Hank

One of the nation’s premiere financial software is making its online version free for everyone.  This is no gimmick.  I’m not being paid a dime for this plug.  It is a company helping people manage their finances online for free.

I’ve used Quicken before and found that its software is excellent in tracking your spending, savings, investing, goals, and a host of other finance tasks.  Sign in to Quicken Online with a single password and get your checking, savings, PayPal, and credit card accounts together all in one place.  Quicken is connected to over 5,000 banks and financial institutions.

Until recently, Quicken Online was free to try, but cost $2.99 per month after a trial period. Beginning October 13th, there will be no charge to use the Quicken Online program.

That’s a fantastic deal, and we now have some insurance that we can do our taxes on the cheap this year – what leads Quicken to make their money on this deal, I wonder? They aren’t just doing it out of the goodness of their hearts…
