Walt Disney World Offers Free Admission to Members of the Military

by Hank

My wife and I were so excited last April to get a military discount at Walt Disney World.  Now, Disney is opening up its arms and the gates of its parks to members of the military.  With Disney’s Armed Forces Salute, active-duty military and activated Guard or reserve members can enjoy complimentary, multi-day admission to Disney’s U.S. theme parks and additional special ticket offers for family and friends.

From Jan. 4 to Dec. 23, troops can get one free five-day pass that covers admission to the four Walt Disney World theme parks, plus an additional five visits to a Disney water park, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive theme park or other attractions.

Up to five Salute companion tickets, also good for five days, can be purchased for $99 each, plus tax, for family and friends.  Walt Disney Land in California has a similar offer. Additional information can be found at installation ITT/ITR offices.
