Happy Veteran’s Day! Be sure to check out these restaurants for a free meal in support of the holiday. Just one thing that I noticed last year eating at Applebee’s, you need to get out there early. The lines are long and the wait is long but worth it. It is a great service that these restaurants are offering our Veterans, and it is very much appreciated.

Nice information on the email, unfortunately, I did not receive it until 12 November! Totally useless!!!!! This posting (and email) should have mentioned that the lines will be around the block and the intermitable.
Dave,
You are totally right, and I apologize. The article went live on the website on Veteran’s Day, but email subscribers did not receive it until this morning. It was definitely a scheduling error and again I’m very sorry for that. Don’t forget about Golden Corral this Monday afternoon though.
You are right again about the lines as well. I took advantage of this program last year, but had to wait over an hour to get into an Applebee’s to sit at the bar with a friend. It would have been considerably longer had I taken my family. It is a great idea that veterans should definitely receive, and the long lines make it almost not worth the hassle. This year, I ended up staying home.
