I am very proud that Military Money Might was named the January 2011 Military Blogger of the Month presented by USAA. It is a great honor and was a complete surprise. I really appreciate the recognition for the site.
What Is The Military Blogger of the Month presented by USAA?
Each month, USAA plans to identify bloggers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty so to speak in order to advocate sound financial health to the military community. The award seeks to identify blogs that provide military audiences with valuable money tips in support of troops and their families. See the entire Press Release with the announcement on USAA.com.
A Few Articles About USAA…
If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a loyal fan and customer of USAA and their financial products. This is not an endorsement. It is just my true love for a great company. You can see how others like J. Money at BudgetsAreSexy, The Miltiary Wallet, and Cash Money Life also love USAA. I have written about the financial services giant several times on the blog. Below are a few articles from Military Money Might about USAA and their services…
- USAA Branches Are Coming To A Military Base Near You With USAA Financial Centers
- Research, Buy, and Insure Your Next Car Purchase With USAA’s New Auto Circle Program
- Blogging This Week From USAA Headquarters In San Antonio, Texas
I appreciate the recognition that USAA realizes bloggers play in helping military members and their families along side great companies such as USAA. I hope that Military Money Might will always continue to provide valuable content to the military community.

USAA has a great idea. More bloggers should be recognized for their contributions to our service members. I wish when I was in the Air Force that we had this type of available information. All we had was word of mouth and that tended to lose crediability as it came down the stove pipe. Great Job MilitaryMoneyMight.com
Congrats, Hank! We are lucky to have you as a USAA supporter!
